Yellowstone, day three
Posted by Johanna Harness on Oct 9, 2012
Did I say we left early? Yes–and for good reason. On day three we made our way from the west entrance of Yellowstone, down to the south entrance, and into Grand Teton National Park. We drove the length of that park and as far south as Jackson Hole and the National Elk Refuge before going back to our starting point. It was a long day.
Today will be another big day. I’m not sure how I’ll do continuing this blog report. Our internet service is spotty, but I’ll do my best.
And now on to more photos! :D
Looking back at Midway Geyser Basin:
I love warning signs. This one makes tumbling down a waterfall look like great fun.
A look at the actual cascades and I think I’ll pass though. Beautiful, but dizzying.
